The Beach

We went to CA at the beginning of May to visit my family and were able to make a quick visit to the beach while we were there. Sara loved playing in the sand.

Here she is building sand castles:

She also drew her name in the sand all by herself:

We enjoyed some ice cream:

And took a walk on the pier:

and Sara had a grand old time watching the waves crash and chasing pigeons away:

We also enjoyed a walk down to the caves, finding sand dollars, aka "mermaid money", and some failed attempts at kite flying. It was a great day at the beach!
